Low Cable Crossover: Targeting the Lower Chest

The low cable crossover is similar to the regular cable crossover but focuses more on the lower pectorals. By adjusting the pulleys to a lower position, you create a movement path that mimics an upward push, providing a great stretch and contraction for the lower part of the chest.
How to Perform Low Cable Crossover:
- Set Up:
- Set the pulleys to the lowest position on the cable machine.
- Stand tall, facing the machine, with one foot slightly in front of the other for stability.
- Begin the Movement:
- Grab the handles and pull them up and together in front of your body, aiming for the center of your chest.
- Focus on squeezing your chest as you bring the cables together.
- Return Slowly:
- Slowly release the tension and return your hands to the starting position.
- Tip:
- Use a controlled tempo to maximize time under tension, ensuring full activation of the lower chest.
